Los \u00faltimos datos del gigante minorista estadounidense sit\u00faan la cifra en nada menos que 2,3 millones. Ni siquiera\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.statista.com\/temas\/3556\/amazon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon<\/a>, el gigante del comercio electr\u00f3nico, se le acerca, a pesar de estar en segundo lugar con una plantilla de 1,6 millones de trabajadores. Sin embargo, como muestra esta infograf\u00eda, hay un sector que aparentemente necesita a\u00fan m\u00e1s mano de obra que el comercio minorista, y es el de la defensa.<\/p>\n<p>A la cabeza de la clasificaci\u00f3n de los mayores empleadores del mundo est\u00e1 el Ministerio de Defensa de la India. Combinando el personal militar en activo, los reservistas y el personal civil, el n\u00famero total de empleados asciende a 2,99 millones, un poco m\u00e1s que el del equivalente estadounidense, el Departamento de Defensa de los Estados Unidos, que ocupa el segundo lugar con 2,91 millones de miembros. En China, el Ej\u00e9rcito Popular de Liberaci\u00f3n, sin incluir los puestos civiles, emplea a unos 2,5 millones de personas.
